1988

In Fu'an City, Fujian Province, the Yu brothers officially established Wonder Electric Co., Ltd. As one of the earliest aluminum frame motor manufacturers in China, the spirit of fearlessness in the face of challenges and the courage to innovate has been embedded in Wonder's corporate DNA from its inception.

1991

Wonder Electric made its debut at the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) and has continued to participate ever since. Leveraging the Canton Fair as a platform, Wonder Electric became one of the earliest Chinese companies to export aluminum frame motors to Europe, gaining recognition in the European market for its outstanding quality. By the early 1990s, Wonder Electric had firmly established itself as a leader in China's industrial motor manufacturing industry.

1995

Wonder Electric has established a comprehensive internal supply chain, covering production processes such as die casting, metalworking, winding, varnishing, and assembly. The company implements strict quality control measures for motor production. We firmly believe that motor product quality is one of the core competitive advantages of motor manufacturers.

1998

The products of Wonder Electric have been recognized as Fujian Provincial Famous Products by the Fujian Provincial People's Government. Through 10 years of research, development, promotion, and continuous improvement, Wonder Electric has established itself as a benchmark for excellent manufacturing and export enterprises in the Fujian region and the industrial motor industry.

2000

Wonder Electric entered Fuzhou city with the launch of the new plant in Fuzhou Development Zone officially, and Fuzhou Wonder Electric Co., Ltd. was established. The superior geographical location facing the sea brings more development opportunities for Wonder Electric, propelling it towards becoming a global brand.

2001-2006

Fujian Lisong Metal Industry Co., Ltd. and Ningde Dayu Precision Casting Co., Ltd. were successively established. As the two major casting production bases of Wonder Electric, Lisong Metal and Dayu Precision Casting have continuously provided Wonder Electric with high-quality and reliable metal parts, while also focusing on their own scale expansion and continuous improvement of technical level. They have created a good brand image in China's casting industry.

2008-2010

Wonder Electric high-efficiency motors have been certified by over ten professional institutions, including the Shanghai Electrical Equipment Testing Institute, making us one of the earliest companies in China to obtain third-party certification for high-efficiency motors. With its brand promoted globally, Wonder Electric has grown into a world-renowned supplier of high-efficiency industrial motors.

2012

Wonder Electric IE3 high-efficiency electric motors entered mass production, making Wonder one of the first domestic motor manufacturers to meet this standard following the introduction of the concept of high-efficiency motors in Europe in 2010.

2015

Wonder Electric took another step forward in its journey to develop high-efficiency industrial motors: Wonder IE4 permanent magnet synchronous motors and asynchronous motors entered mass production and were launched into the global market. Meanwhile, Wonder initiated the IE5 motor R&D project.

2016-2017

Wonder Electric's remarkable achievements in developing high-efficiency industrial motors have earned it numerous accolades of provincial and national level. Wonder SWE series motors (IE3) have been selected for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Recommended Energy-Saving Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Product Catalog, actively contributing to the realization of the national green development goals.

2018

Wonder Electric celebrates 30th anniversary. Marking three decades of innovation and excellence, Wonder has reached a significant milestone. In a testament to our unwavering commitment to energy conservation and environmental sustainability, Wonder Electric has unveiled its groundbreaking IE5 motors. These cutting-edge motors represent the pinnacle of motor technology, surpassing even the stringent IE4 efficiency standards. Wonder Electric was bestowed with the prestigious title of "Fujian Province Science and Technology Little Giant Leading Enterprise." This recognition underscores Wonder Electric's position as a frontrunner in the field of high-efficiency motors of Fujian Province.

2021-2022

Wonder Electric has received two prestigious national honors: National High-Tech Enterprise and National "Professionalized, Refined, Specialized, and Original" Little Giant Enterprise, in recognition of our outstanding contributions to energy conservation, technological progress as well as our ability to transform research and development into practical applications that benefit society.

2023-2024

Wonder Electric will unswervingly promote its global business, continuously develop new markets with growth potential, explore richer possibilities of product applications, and provide more professional and systematic power solutions for partners.
